An historic Agreement concluded between the European Patent Organization and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco entered into force on 1st March 2015. The Agreement, which allows a European patent to be validated in Morocco, is the first such Agreement that the Organization has reached with a non-European country and makes Morocco the 41st country in which patent protection can be obtained on the basis of a European patent application.
